In-Depth Process:

The search is very thorough and involves detailed market research, candidate vetting, and a long-list and short-list process.

 

Exclusive Agreement:

The search firm is granted exclusive rights to fill the position. This means the client will not engage other firms for the same role.

 

Executive and Senior-Level Positions:

Retained searches are commonly used for high-level executive, senior management, or specialized positions.

 

Ongoing Payment:

Payments are made in installments based on milestones (e.g., upon initiation, during the search process, and upon candidate placement).

 

Guaranteed Results:

Guaranteed replacement if the hired candidate leaves within a specified period. Contingency Search: Paid upon placement, used for mid-level or high-volume positions, faster but still very comprehensive.
